Angelo xxAngelo xx

Rubinstein’s damsire, Angelo xx, was one of the most successful Westphalian sires and the highest winning Thoroughbred stallion of all German Warmblood breeds.

His sons include Ahlerich (ridden by Dr. Klimpke for 3 Olympic, 2 World Championship, and 4 European Championship Gold Medals). Angelo xx and his full brother, Amon xx (Olympic dressage for Holland), are full brothers of Rubinstein’s dam, Antine.


AntineAntine

Antine, dam of Rubinstein I, was full-sister of the top international dressage horses Ahlerich II and Amon. She later produced 2 further stallion sons, Rubinstein II and Rubinstein III.

Her full-sister Adone was the dam of multiple Olympic champion Rembrandt as well as the Westphalian stallions Royal Angelo I and II.


RosenkavalierRosenkavalier

Rosenkavalier is considered one of the most significant Westphalian sires. He was the winner of the Stallion Performance Test at Warendorf in 1983.

He sired 471 registered offspring. His most famous sons include Rubinstein I and the Grand Prix dressage horse, Rubens.

His offspring have been successful in the dressage ring and the show jumping arena alike.


Romadour IIRomadour II

Romadour II is the sire of many influential stallions. This famous Westfalen stallion was the sire of the Olympic dressage horse Rembrandt.

He also produced a list of approved stallions including Rosenkavalier, the sire of the famous stallion Rubinstein I.


RubinsteinRubinstein I

Rubinstein I was winner of the Conformation Show Horses in Munster in 1990, 1-A Main Premium Winner in Oldenburg, and Vice-Champion German Dressage Horse in Verden in 1992. He was a multiple Oldenburg dressage champion, series winner of dressage competitions up to advanced class, and multiple Intermediare II and Grand Prix winner.

Rubinstein I was known as a great improver for the breed. He consistently passed on his wonderful temperament and movement.


WendekreisWendekreis

Wendekreis is regarded as one of the most influential stallions of the past few decades and is well known as a producer of riding horses with excellent trainability.

He was a noted producer of sport horses and sired over 50 approved stallions and 400 Main Studbook Mares in Germany including Werther, the 1992 Hanoverian "Stallion of the Year".


WertherWerther

Werther was the very first stallion honored by the title, "Hanoverian Stallion of the Year", in 1992 and has certainly proven his ability to sire performance and breeding horses treasured for their athleticism, soundness, versatility and personality.

Werther is by the great Hanoverian stallion, Wendekreis, from whom he gets strength, bone, and jumping ability. From his Marcio xx damline, Werther inherits his wonderful movement.

Werther's progeny are proof of his ability to pass on top performance qualities. His offspring have won over 2 million DM in competitions. 41 of his sons have been licensed. 90 of his mares have achieved the prestigious States Premium Mare title.

Famous dressage horses sired by Werther include: Willy the Great, First Wellpoint, Warrenty, Wacramentana and others. Famous international jumpers sired by Werther include: Werra, Silwa Wapiti, and B&H Medicott Walloony.
