December 2011 — Leopold (Lehnsritter/Wigwam) competed at his first show on Dec 11th at Mendoza Dressage, riding First Level Test 2. Leopold, ridden by Julio Mendoza, received a 67.838% with Trisha Reed DeRosa as judge. We are very proud of them! Below is a video of their ride:
September 2011 — Wood's Lane Farm would like to thank Sharon Garner of Garner Creek Farms in Ranger, TX, for selling us two superb breeding stallions: Falsterbo (Fidermark/Brentano II), and Romancero H (Rhodiamant/Matcho AA). Wood's Lane Farm would like to welcome Julio and Jessica and their son, Justin Mendoza to our team.
Julio is an FEI International Trainer and Instructor, as well as a Bronze and Silver Medalist.
Julio has been training horses for over 21 years in dressage, driving, keurings/inspections and jumping. He specializes in classical competitive dressage and natural dressage - based horsemanship, and has trained and successfully competed several horses up to Grand Prix Level.
Julio's most recent accomplishment is receiving an invitation to compete Ivan Sport, a Fresian stallion owned by David Deal of Laytonsville, MD, in the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico, representing his home country of Equador! We'll all be rooting for him!

July 2011 —Tara Equestrian Summer Camp visited Wood's Lane Farm on July 21st. They met this year's foals as well as our yearlings, two-year olds, four-year olds, brood mares and stallions. They had some good questions, which we were glad to answer while having cookies in the lab.
Rapunzel (Regazzoni/Riverman/Calimero I), our final foal, joined us on July 1st! This "in your pocket" filly is sure to turn heads with her movements (see photo at right).

Congratulations, too, to Laura D. of Georgia: Rigoletto (Regazzoni/Donnerhall/Fabriano) joined us on April 15th here at Wood's Lane Farm. He is going to be an elegant partner for Laura in just a few years (photo at right).
April 2011 — Our first foal of 2011! Dulcinea (Diamond Hit/Romancero H/Wenzel I)(photo at left) joined us on April 6th. She's already trying upper level movements!
Dec 2010 — Wood's Lane Farm welcomes our newest broodmare, SPS Rothara (Romancero/Wenzel/SPS Weltmeyer) (see photo at right). Rothara is bred to Diamond Hit for an April 2011 foal. Congratulations to Betsy Juliano for her purchase of Riccidoff (Riccione/Don Davidoff/Sandro Hit), a 5 year old grandson of Regazzoni, to be trained and competed by George Williams. Riccidoff, the reigning Hanoverian Vice Riding Horse Champion, is a beautiful and exceptionally elegant stallion with outstanding rideability qualities. He has won several conformation classes, and came in second to Sarkozy at the World Championship of Young Dressage Horses in Verden with a score of 8.58. Regazzoni's legacy continues, and we can't wait to watch this pair in the future!
July 2010 — Congratulations to Kristin Bostick of South Carolina for her newest addition, name to be determined (Regazzoni/ Riverman/Calimero I), born July 21, 2010.
Keep an eagle eye out for this pair in the future, as they will be sure to be getting attention!
May 2010 — Archimedes (Adonis/Wigwam/Einstand), AKA Archie, joined us May 10th. We can definitely see similarities between Aladdin and Archie ... both are very people-oriented and have their father's movement.
April 2010 — Our first foal has arrived!
Fabian (Farewell III/Donnerhall/Fabriano) joined us on April 11th. We expect great things from this fancy fellow.
